George Eason is the Manager of Restoration & Readiness on CenterPoint Energy's Special Response Team, where he leads initiatives that strengthen grid resilience and accelerate service restoration before, during, and after major events. He oversees restoration strategy, operational readiness, predictive modeling, infrastructure reliability programs, and mutual aid coordination to improve situational awareness and emergency response.

Working closely with Incident Management Teams (IMTs) and Emergency Preparedness & Response (EP&R) leadership, George helps define operational processes within the Incident Command System (ICS) while advancing restoration best practices across the organization. His work also includes developing contingency plans for high-profile events, including the FIFA World Cup, and leveraging technology, advanced planning, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance operational performance and power system reliability.
