Sarah Wambles currently serves as the General Manager of Asset Management Governance at Duke Energy in the electric division. In this role, she is accountable for Standards and Governance relating to Reliability, Protection and Controls, and various centralized T&D engineering teams across 6 states.
She has spent the last 19 years at Duke Energy working in leadership roles in both Engineering and Operations. Prior to joining Progress Energy FL in 2007 Sarah worked for Siemens Westinghouse in Orlando, FL, designing various systems in simple-cycle and combined-cycle power plants around the world.
Sarah holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Baylor University, and an MBA from the University of Florida. She is a registered Professional Engineer in Florida.
