Omerullah Mohammed is an Engineer at ComEd, where he works on the Renewable Energy Advanced Control and Telemetry Systems (REACTS) engineering team supporting the utility’s transmission and distribution operations. A data-focused engineer, Omerullah builds full-stack applications, automation tools, and data models that turn complex grid information into actionable insights — streamlining workflows, improving data quality, and helping engineering teams make faster, smarter decisions. He also partners with ComEd’s Smart Grid team, lending his data and automation expertise to support their initiatives. His work centers on applying software engineering, analytics, and emerging technologies to the challenges of grid modernization. He holds a BE in Computer Engineering and an MS in Computer Science from DePaul University.
