Bobby Saddler is senior director of Telecom Infrastructure & Growth at the Lower Colorado River Authority in Texas, where he is responsible for telecom network strategy, planning and architecture. LCRA’s telecom systems include private LTE, fiber, microwave, 900 MHz and 700 MHz mission-critical radio, Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS), Dense Wavelength-Division Multiplexing (DWDM), security appliances, and network monitoring systems. During his 15 years at LCRA, Saddler has specialized in technology planning, engineering and operations. Earlier, he worked with major commercial wireless carriers and gained experience in core network integrations, radio-frequency engineering of cellular networks, and large scale network planning. He serves on the board of the Greater Austin Area Telecommunications Network (GAATN) and is active in multiple professional associations. Bobby is a summa cum laude graduate of Texas A&M University and is a licensed professional engineer in Texas.
