The technical viability of dynamic line rating systems has been proven through multiple pilot programs in North America and through complete system integrations in Europe. PPL has taken on the pioneering role of moving beyond the pilot stage and are integrating the first North American DLR system into their own operations and with their regional transmission organization (PJM).
