The growing Duke Energy Emerging Technology Center is a testing ground for projects that will help modernize the electric grid. Engineers work on innovative tech that’s helping to build a smarter energy future – everything from near-term and existing technologies, like home and utility storage batteries, EV charging and solar, to longer-term projects that focus on technologies that don’t yet exist at the commercial scale.
Itinerary:
7:30am – Tour Check-in and bus loading - Convention Foyer
8:00am – Bus departs Sheraton for Mount Holly Innovation Center - 1900 North Main Street, Mt Holly NC 28120
8:30am – Duke Energy rep to meet tour bus and welcome tour participants.
8:30-9:45am – Facility Tour
9:45am – bus loading
10:15am – bus arrives at Sheraton Charlotte
