Philipp Erlinghagen is co-founder and VP Product of envelio GmbH, founded in 2017, where he leads the product management and design teams. Previously, he worked at RWTH Aachen, where, after studying electrical engineering and industrial engineering, he headed the "Protection and Stability" research team within the "Sustainable Distribution Systems" research group. He received his doctorate in electrical engineering in 2019 at the former Institute of High Voltage Technology with a thesis on modeling dynamic (RMS) simulations of active distribution networks. Since 2024, he has been deputy chairman of the "Grid State Determination" project group within the VDE FNN.
