Salt River Project (SRP) has long been recognized as a leader in offering prepay programs to electric utility customers. Over the past two decades, SRP’s prepay offering—and the technology behind it—has evolved significantly. Throughout these changes, one constant has been a consistently high level of customer satisfaction. Today, SRP is in the midst of transitioning to a new technology platform that will enable the continued expansion of its prepay program. As part of a broader grid modernization initiative, SRP is evaluating its prepay and other payment solutions not only for customer convenience, but also for their ability to improve operational efficiency and support demand flexibility efforts.
