David Elve is an Executive Consultant for VASS Solutions. His background includes numerous executive roles in the energy industry. He was previously a Board Member and Chief Marketing Officer for PayGo. He has served as an investor, Vice President, and Principal Consultant with Enspiria Solutions (now a Black & Veatch company), Vice President with Cellnet (now Landis+Gyr), and a Senior Vice President with Atos. His utility background spans nearly 30 years including stints at Schlumberger and Convergent Group. In 2011, He was named to the Fierce Grid 15 Most Influential People in Energy. Mr. Elve holds a B.S. in Business from Auburn University, an MBA in Finance from Mercer University, and is a graduate of the Georgia Tech Management Institute’s Executive Program. Mr. Elve works with utilities on their Smart Grid and customer engagement programs, and he is a frequent speaker in the industry. He has been an active investor and advisor to several start-up ventures including both Verdeeco and Preparis.
