Ms. Manz brings over 35 years of executive and field experience in electric and natural gas utilities, leading innovative solutions for utility, regulator, and developer clients globally. Her expertise is leveraged to advise on complex challenges including natural disaster and wildfire protection, grid planning and operations, resource interconnection and integration, distributed energy and advanced technologies. She has developed wildfire mitigation and natural disaster protection plans in California, Nevada and Washington, leading plan development, stakeholder outreach and public safety partner collaboration. As the former Vice President – Market and Infrastructure Development with the California Independent System Operator (CAISO) she has also provided thought leadership on regulatory policy, grid planning, market design, transmission maintenance, resource interconnection / integration, and reliability compliance. She earned her BS Electrical Engineering from Lafayette College and MBA from Drexel University.
