Suzie Rose is a Program and Project Supervisor in the Electric Safety Policy Division at the Office of Energy Infrastructure Safety (Energy Safety). Suzie graduated from Duke University with a degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering, and is a registered Civil Engineer in the state of California. She has supervised Energy Safety’s updates to the Wildfire Mitigation Plan (WMP) Guidelines for the past two years. She also served as a subject matter expert evaluating electric utilities’ Wildfire Mitigation Plans, including evaluating utilities’ risk assessment and risk modeling. Prior to joining Energy Safety, Suzie worked for the California Public Utilities Commission for eight years.
