Ajmal Saeed is a Principal Engineer in System Protection Engineering at Pacific Gas and Electric Company. He has more than 20 years of experience in the application of protective relaying in power systems and analysis for the electric grid. Presently, he is providing overall group interconnection support and developing transmission and distribution interconnection standards / processes related to protection on the transmission line, substation and feeder level. He has a BSEE degree from University of Engineering & Technology, Pakistan and Masters from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, New York. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of California and a member of IEEE.
