Zefan Tang is currently a Senior Data Scientist at Eversource Energy. He received a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Stony Brook University in 2021, an M.S. degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Michigan-Shanghai Jiao Tong University Joint Institute at Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2017, and a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering and automation from Zhejiang University in 2014. From 2021 to 2022, he was a postdoc researcher in the Interdisciplinary Science Department at Brookhaven National Laboratory. His current research interests include transmission and distribution systems, machine learning, computer vision, and data science. He received the Best Paper Award at the 2020 IEEE Power and Energy Society General Meeting, the Best Presentation Recognition at the 2015 IECON, and the Outstanding Reviewer Award for IEEE Transactions on Power Systems in 2018.
