Ahmad Ababneh has more than 25 years of experience in multiple industries with a focus in the energy and utility sectors. Ahmad is currently serving as the Vice President of Electric Operations, Transmission and Substations at Pacific Gas and Electric Company. In this role, Ahmad oversees all of PG&E's to ensure the safe, reliable operation of the utility’s electric transmission system, including wildfire and grid resiliency programs, state infrastructure, and system capacity and reliability programs. Since joining PG&E in 2014, Ababneh has worked in various electric operations and engineering roles. Most recently, Ababneh was Vice President of Electric Operations, Projects and Construction, overseeing electric transmission and distribution major projects’ design and construction work. Prior to joining PG&E, Ababneh served in various engineering, consulting, and leadership roles for Fortune 500 companies at Florida Power and Light, Entergy, Schlumberger, and GE. Ababneh holds a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Jordan University of Science and Technology, a Master of electrical engineering degree from the University of New Orleans and a Master of Business Administration degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University. Ababneh is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
