As the industry is changed by innovation, technology, customer demand, and how companies work, training and development also must adjust and adapt to fulfill customer needs and continue operational excellence. This panel discussion will focus on what utilities across the country are doing to fulfill those needs, as well as what programs are available to meet new challenges. The discussion will cover the Center for Energy Workforce Development (CEWD), which represents more than 120 energy companies that are partnering and contributing to the cause. The CEWD partners and supports the American Gas Association, American Public Gas Association, American Public Power Association, Distribution Contractors Association, Edison Electric Institute, National Rural Electric Cooperative Association, Nuclear Energy Institute and Utilities Technology Council.
